What Now ??? Etsy Children's Designer :)

It is now August 4th and I am still loving life as a stay at home mom...The only problem is, I miss having $$$

I hate having to restrain myself from buying things I want to buy. Now I have to ask husband (he handles the finances), if it is in the "budget". ugh !!! That is so not me.

I have been trying different things to try to make $$$. And what is the deal with all those stay at home, money making schemes %$@! They all should be arrested!!!!!!

So this is my plan:

With a degree in Marketing and a passion for designing clothes. I have made a decision.

I am going to help both my father, who has his own ornamental wrought iron business and also help my mother, who loves to sew (and does it just like a rock star)

I will design children's clothes and market it !!! I will create my own Children's clothing line!!!!!

I love it. That is what I have always wanted to do.

As for dad, I will start an aggressive marketing strategy. Lord help me :)

I need this to work!!!!

Here is my etsy shop!!!!!!!!!hope you love!!!

Wish me luck

O.K. So, I have been out of commission for some months...fast forward a year if you please. Let me let you in on what has been going on..
So I had my beautiful daughter Madeline Elizabeth, life was good. Stayed at home for eight more weeks until my maternity leave ended.
In between those eight weeks I had major conflicts with what I needed and wanted to do for the rest of my life....I didn't want to go back to work, I wanted to stay at home, but I could not afford it. I looked at other opportunities, but quickly realized that the current job was a bit cushier, better pay and better schedule.

So, I went back to work. I hated every minute of it. Hated leaving my little ones while I went off to earn a living. The only blessing is that Grandma was there to take care of them. But even though, I felt like such a bad mother. How could I leave a poor helpless eight week old baby???
Nevertheless, I worked day in day out until something better came along. Something closer to home where I could go home for lunch and visit with my girls.

Total career change happened right on my birthday!!! It was like a sign from God!!
I was going to be an insurance agent. A brand new agent was starting up his own office and wanted me to help him out!!
All went well when I quickly realized I was doing all the work and he was reaping in all the benefits!!
So let's just say I am home again!!!!
Trying to figure it all out.

Dani is now 5, Maddie will turn one this month. So far, I have been home for a couple of weeks. It feels good, but my husband feeling the pressure as am I. I know I need to produce some income. I still have yet to figure out what I will do. Any thoughts? I wish I knew what I want to be when I grow up ....UGH!!!

Here I am. Week two at home. I'm still enjoying it, but finding out the real truth on what it takes to run a house. Boy its hard work!!
I've been working since my daughter was six months old. And now that I am home on maternity leave, I feel like I am missing something. Even though I am enjoying staying at home with my daughter, I feel like there is something else I need to be doing, or worrying about. Does that seem odd? I hate my job, but yet I feel the need to do something outside of my house in order to earn a living (even though I am receiving my maternity pay). I hope this will all stop after baby comes (in two weeks).

Life as a Stay at Home Mom

It's been a week without work and let me tell you, I love it!!
I love not having that throbbing lower back pain at the end of the day. The nonstop pressure (down there) building as the day (and baby in my belly) get lower and lower.
I love not having to worry about work quotas. Meeting our sales plan numbers each day, week and month. What I love even more, is spending the day with my daughter.
I actually get to make breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday, sit down with her and eat !! What a concept. She is such a blessing and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I am happy :-)
