O.K. So, I have been out of commission for some months...fast forward a year if you please. Let me let you in on what has been going on..
So I had my beautiful daughter Madeline Elizabeth, life was good. Stayed at home for eight more weeks until my maternity leave ended.
In between those eight weeks I had major conflicts with what I needed and wanted to do for the rest of my life....I didn't want to go back to work, I wanted to stay at home, but I could not afford it. I looked at other opportunities, but quickly realized that the current job was a bit cushier, better pay and better schedule.
So, I went back to work. I hated every minute of it. Hated leaving my little ones while I went off to earn a living. The only blessing is that Grandma was there to take care of them. But even though, I felt like such a bad mother. How could I leave a poor helpless eight week old baby???
Nevertheless, I worked day in day out until something better came along. Something closer to home where I could go home for lunch and visit with my girls.
Total career change happened right on my birthday!!! It was like a sign from God!!
I was going to be an insurance agent. A brand new agent was starting up his own office and wanted me to help him out!!
All went well when I quickly realized I was doing all the work and he was reaping in all the benefits!!
So let's just say I am home again!!!!
Trying to figure it all out.
Dani is now 5, Maddie will turn one this month. So far, I have been home for a couple of weeks. It feels good, but my husband feeling the pressure as am I. I know I need to produce some income. I still have yet to figure out what I will do. Any thoughts? I wish I knew what I want to be when I grow up ....UGH!!!
